In Mrs. McCurdy’s class we are reading a novel called A Paradise Called Texas. Also farther on Willow Creek Home. The main characters are Mina,papa,Tante Lissite,Peter, Anna’s Family, Daniel’s Family, Herr Karl Friedrich Lange’s Family,and Mina ‘s new horse Tucan.

My sadest part

One of my sadest parts are when Mina went to the Libben Tribe and goes to look out point . At the top of the hill they saw two indians that were on their horse and they charged at Mina and Amaya . They cought Mina and took off running with her. Mina kept trying to get loose  and the indians got tighter around her. Mina got an idea . She turned around and spit in his eye  . When he let go she turned left . She almost got away but he grabbed her ancle and she grabbed a branch.his horse ran right  through water and Mina’s face was right there and got soken wet.they started to go up a hill and and scraped her hands when she got away then she got Tucan back and took off running

If Mr.Steve gets over 12,000 feet off the ground he will run out of oxygen. If it is cold outside you will have to use more hot air than when it is hot. The first aircraft to be flown was a hot air balloon was in the 1700’s and  there was animals driving it the animals were a duck, sheep, and a rooster. When they landed the duck had a broken leg and they said the sheep had just had stepped on his leg. The higher  the balloon goes the hotter the air needs to be . If there are less people the more hot air needs to be in the balloon. The balloon part is called an envelope .

On silk

The best gift I have given was brown slippers for my little couisn’s Barrett and Dayln. I gave it on Chirstmas eve. I felt good because I was giving , and I like to give.

A gerbil is very small.He loves hiding in his burrow.He also buildes a tunnel he crawls through.
